JACKNIFE • You are on your last mile • I am just beginning • I got your redemption • Right on the edge of this blade • I’ll be there in the shadows • Waiting for you to cross the line • I’ll wait for a long time • For a goddamn long time • Many will stay on the same path • Few will cross the line • This is for the one who crossed the line • Blasphemy, profanity, irreverence • Traitor, impostor, I bring chaos • Second class amateur, wanna be • No respect, no logic, no relief, no legitimacy • No not for me • I wanna walk alone • Break the ranks and sing my songs • I wanna walk alone • Leave this place where we’re all the same • These clones die one by one • I wanna walk alone • I will walk alone • Stand in the night and tell me what you feel • Far from heaven, your promised land • It’s so dark it sucks your soul dry • It’s all right • Go • I break the ranks with my robot friends • They march on the same beat so I leave’em behind • I’ve seen the night • Look straight into her eyes • I’ve seen Goliath • And I have made my choice • The great darkness is upon us • And He • He’s among us • A quick motion and then I’m gone • The great darkness is upon us • And He • He’s among us • I kill the lights and then I’m gone • No relief • Not for you • No relief • Not for me • I take this blade and set you free • No relief • Jacknife! • I take this edge and set you… • Free yourself from servitude • Save yourself from certitude • Turn your face away from the sun • This is for the one who crossed the line.

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
