MMXII • It has just begun • The revival • We are, we are, we are, we are done • With this era • Doomed • And we're here to celebrate • Stop crying • And let the party begin • After all these good times • When we thought we were safe • It’s only when the end is near that you really start, start to live • And tell me girl will you miss those lies? • Tell me boy will you sacrifice? • Your values were so pure • How’d you feel about this failure? • You can’t miss your chance • Cause you don’t have any • We are all the same now • Corrupted and bastardized • You and me are like twins • Sharing deep regrets through our veins • Take a deep breath and close your eyes • Cause you’re not coming home • Tonight • I take you for a ride • There is no way back and you know that’s a fact • Your weakness • The life you cherish • You should all be glad that you’re part of this ballad • So now are you living? • Update your status: I’m not coming home • You know nothing is perfect • In your perfect world • When you naively let your trust and hope feed all your illusions • You're fucked by your own instinct • So now are you starting to live? • So now are you living? • Because you keep on wearing those sunglasses as the sky goes darker and darker and darker everyday• And because it’s bigger than me, bigger than everyone and surely, bigger than you • Because you can’t stop what’s oncoming • Because you can’t deny what’s happening • I’ll tell you what, you will hate like you once loved • Oh you will beg like you once laughed • Welcome the storm that’s falling on you • Raise your hands in the air • And when you wake up • Remember what I said that night • I’ll see you cheat • I’ll see you spit on your ethic • I’ll see you lie • I’ll see you.

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
